I have the Lotro complete or 'compilation' pack and you only get a free month if you go from scratch with a new account. That said, I think you should get a free month for buying an expansion.
I have a valid WoW sub, but I don't think they give us very much in between the expansions, not for the money they get anyway...
I retract my previous statement then as far as the 30 days free for a new account only as I have a lifetime sub but 40 bucks for the full game and Xpac with 30 free days is a steal.
You can say its an inferior game and thats why if you want as I will respect your opinion but I am curious to know what makes it inferior besides it does not have 11 million subs.
WOW battle chest =$40 then another $40 for Xpac $80 to get the same deal from LotRo for half the cost and twice the conent.
Yeah, what LOTRO did is basically the same as if you bought the WOW battlechest. You get the original game, the expansion AND a free month. But the free month only counts if you start a new account.
The same with eq2 if you buy the bundle with the new expansion you get a free month of time only if you are a new subscriber.

Hi there, yes there is light at the end of your tunnel, I as well as the guild i belong too are long time eq2 vets, we have a high lvl guild with a lot of members, and we rank in all lvls, are firendly, if you start a toon on the bazaar server look for any officers online in the guild called famillia, my ign is haggly i am currently downloading the expansion, we have a huge east coast crowd as well as west, dont be shy man hit us up, we raid on sundays when you get to that lvl of the game, and we do writ raids on tuesdays which you can be as low as 35 or 30 i think it is, almost always a group going on somewhere to do something, cya ingame CHEERS :)

Crafting is not deep, it is performed entirely by a NPC, and the only thing they do is make items without stats because TCoS does not have dropped items or crafted items with stats as is described on site.
I do not know what you read on whatever site, but Sigils have effect on character performance much like stats and they drop and can be crafted.
Sigils? I thought those were in vanguard.
