Bioware is now commited to SINGLEPLAYER game , that is played online and requires monthly subscription.
(Some cooperative elements included TM.)

btw, OP, no AA? rofl. u are judging some concept art :> u cant say a thing about textures and certainly not about AA. also, if they emphasize on story where do u read that grouping is not significant in the game? u CAN be right, but u wont know for months :> lol
you are sure i cant? why they showing screenshots with this average quality? if i promote a product i show it in the optimal state. i think they do the same. this havening nothing to do with conceptual or alpha shots... during the development phase there will be not a significant change in the general graphic quality. just look at eve online and you see: they haveing since release AA problems. i know a few other online games with the same issues.
btw: my source for the quotes is IGN.com
sure, there are only very few informations about the new star wars online game from bioware/lucasarts, they released the basic game-FAQ , the base of the game architecture:
Can I play alone?
While there are some tasks that cannot be completed without the cooperation of others, the majority of the game can be accomplished by playing alone.
How does Star Wars: The Old Republic differ from other MMO titles?
We at BioWare and LucasArts believe there is a fourth pillar: Story. Our mission is to create the best story-driven games in the world. We believe that the compelling, interactive storylines in Star Wars: The Old Republic are a significant innovation to MMOs and will offer an entertainment experience unlike any other.
this sound for me much more like a single-player game. why should i buy a online game (mmorpg) without, or with very few, group content and with the mainfocus at the storyline? a storyline focus will bring in instances, zones etc. and a gameplay like in a theme park. in addition this a well known concept of the SOE star wars game: level 1-90 nearly solo playable. boring.
technical:
mushy textures and no anti-aliasing: sorry this is just stoneage. they should concentrate on upper mid-/ highend and not on lowend machines.

i hate it to wait and to..... hope! ![]()
