       clearly i am upset.

So you want to out dps them and out DPS the heals. Well at least no one feel WE are like that.

A certain song by Queen comes to mind.

I'l give to a little tactical advice. Take out the healer first

Everytime you wanna try a new class, you do the same thing, work to get out of tortage.  Once out, you go to the same few spots to level up, doing the same quests over and over again.  After doing this a few times, it just gets old.  It is extremely linear.

I cant knock this game too much, cause i really do like it, ill just come back next year (if its still around) once it has all the bugs worked out.  But anyway, have fun, it is a cool game to play for a few months anyhow..

AoC linear? This must be the statement I agree the least with. I agree with the point of Tortage, but AoC endgame is extremely nonlinear if played the way it is supposed to get played. I would go as fare as there are not a more complex endgame (at least on PvP servers) than in AoC. Reason is the players themselves build the cities and they themselves choose what conflicts to have, what Wars to fight. Besides this you got that whole  murder criminal thing going.

Read what he said again. He didnt say endgame.

DOKs and Warrior Priests can improve their healing with some melee - AM/shams have a similar mechanic - but the focus must still be on healing. If someone dies while I'm dotting the enemy, I made a mistake, pure and simple. My focus is on keeping my team alive and watching entire groups of enemies die while I do so is very fun :)

Lol and you go even farther and tell the hybrids how to play. How nice of you. Cookiecutters FTW.

The dps specs are simply there for levelling and solo PVE, healers in WAR are extremely specialised and are possibly the most skill dependent classes in the game. Good healers are highly sought and well-known. Be aware that you are the center of the enemies' attention - you need to heal your tanks and dps so they can survive long enough to kill the dozens of enemies that will be gunning for you at every moment :) -

I always find these comments funny, you have no clue how our healing works do you? I'm a 30 Shaman, if I only heal and do no damage my heals suck, and my protection spells suck too, if I throw out a few DOTs before a heal they are much more powerfull. If I have a moral ability on 'Do somfin Useful' the more Waaagh I have the more protection it gives. I dont use Bunch of Waaagh to often but when I do it's usually to finish off a player that someone else is neglectied to do.

I also enjoy using 'Gork Says Stop' as often as possible, I've killed many a stunty and BW's with it.

So my advice to the OP, play the role before you tell others how to play it, thank you very much.. and if you have - are you having fun being a bot?

And as many others have said, once you pay for my sub I'll play it your way, otherwise I'll play the game to have fun (and fun too me is helping my team and doing some killing.) and not being a healbot.

Now if I were to suggest some classes that are needed, - tanks and healers. Seems to be a lack of both on a lot of servers. I can see a lot of healers just leaving cause of people like the op telling them how to play their job and not having fun with it.

It's your choice to be bad at the game

I play a healer main and a tank alt, and I play them both well enough that I'm in the best premade on our server, we are well known :)

There's no such thing as a healbot.

There's a good healer, one that uses his AP for heals

And there are bad healers, ones that blow their AP for dps

There are good tanks who push up their survivability, use shield, rotate their guard to lower spike damage and stand in front of melee dps and far ahead of casters, giving them a nice wide margin to dps safely.

And there are bad tanks who don't hotkey guard, rush in with two handers and run back to the casters when they get on low health, encouraging the enemy melee to follow :)

It's your choice to be bad at the game if you want

I say it's better to be good and part of a winning team :)

Before you keep calling other people bad and saying that there shouldn't be hybrids in a game, read up on DoKs.

Yep and WP ( I play both). Had  a guy ripping me and another WP one day for going melee and him dying. If I recall he was a BW standing near the front lines for some reason screaming for heals. Once we explained things to him he kept his mouth shut.

800k to 415k in the second quarter, and you sem to "think" they have 150-200k in the 3rd, so that means their still losing subs at a rate of 50% a quarter..

The population has leveled off. Most people bought the game between may and july. The major problem the game faced was that most people were expecting AoC to be  a WoW killed, and didn't find it because in order for a game to be WoW killer it will have to have at least half of WoW's current content at launc. Yes the lack of content didn't help, and others quit due to game breaking bugs, but IMO thats the major reason why people quit and won't come back. Population has leveled off now, just like in all MMOs because it is in the 6th month. Population may "dip" but it won't be 50% anymore. 150-200l subs for the US is perfectly fine IMO, before the days of WoW this would of been golden anyways.

Just to clarify the major problem was NOT that people expected it to be a WOW killer but rather to not be a paid beta test. it was painfully obvious that from the get go that the game was not "complete" by MMO standards. That followed by CS screw ups of epic proportions are what drove a LOT of people away.

I agree that there probably wont be a 50% but I disagree that they are happy with 150k.

I don't like PvP combat.
I think it is the best part about MMORPG's.
