The Bush disgrace, however, shocks me because this is deliberate. This is not a coincidence; this is the world community saying, FU, Bush. It is underrated, underreported because the public does not realize the significance, the size of this rebuke.
Since once again you have trolled the forums using your all-too-familiar techniques, I thought I would share this with you:
It's only 2 min long and gives you the whole story. It also goes to show how declaredemer plays all of you to stroke his ego, or whatever he strokes when he gets so many to continuously respond to his threads.

Well, it looks relatively interesting, but I see that it is based in Europe, and as we all know, FPS games and latency have detrimental effects when combined. From the descriptions in this post, it sounds like you need to be active with good reflexes etc, during combat.. which north-america to europe related lag would break for me. Especially in a pvp environment.
Thoughts? Surely there's a CB tester who's north american.
(As a side note, the game is accepting open beta spots, but only if you are from an Europe connection)
The closed beta was global and ended today. I am a North American and played for some time. Unfortunately, with the OB starting for the Euro servers, there is nothing for NA players to do until Acclaim (the NA publisher) starts their Closed Beta on 27 Nov. I am sure people will be posting info on that as soon as it becomes available.

First I wanna give my thanks to Dwarva for pointing me to the Beta invites, Thanks.
Second, I wanna say I'm disapointed, a lot, I went to this site, I got the beta and all, I thought AWESOME! TCOS Beta there I go. This was yesterday at the evening, gmt+1 time. I started the fileplanet download yesterday night and this morning I found it had an error and to make it worse the beta is finishing today.
Why the hell they give you a beta invite for a 1 day beta. This hurts more than it helps, Im really thinking about not giving it a go when it comes out on 27 cose of that. What am I supossed to test in 1 day?. No I'm not going to "rush" a download stay all the day trying to set it up, install, wait for pachting and all to play, may be, 1 or 2 hours. This is not the way to make a promotion or a closed beta, cose, to be fair, I dont think they want me to beta test nothing in 1 day, this is not a closed beta is a promotion, a bad one in my opinion.
This wasn't a promotion. It was a fellow gamer finding a site that still had beta invites and gave people who wanted a chance to play, a chance to play. Many people wanted in on this game to check it out, but with the beta ending somewhat before we expected, they didn't get in to the European beta. At the moment, nobody knows anything about the NA beta, so really the OP did people a huge favor. Don't get upset at the game because you didn't read the post saying beta was ending today.

I hate to burst anyones bubble, but this game will never be released. If it does get released it will have a very small European fan base.
Back in 2005....yes.. 2005, It is now almost 2009...I was was really excited about the game. I got really involved with the community, even became a forum moderator for the official team.
Long story short....This particular developing team promises many things but never ever delivers.
Well, say what you like, but in 7 days we will all know. On the Euro CB website and official public website it seems to be it will be released on the 27th.

1 review saying all the quests are obvious and hand holding, that you general time in the game is funelled from 1 quest hub to the next with no exploration inbetween.
2 The other saying they will not be playing because the quests are non-specific and you have to work too hard and explore too much.
You both seem to agree on other stuff saying its good but both agree you wont be playing the game.
Edit. On a side note, would it be possible to not quote the DF fanbois in future posts it kind of makes blocking them pointless.
The local chat and beta forums were filled with people complaining about some quests being hard to figure out. No, they were not hard if you actually read the dialog, but that's beside the point. I found them decent. He is right about the little dots on the map. Once you got close enough to some quest objectives, you would get a dot. However, they were probably only on about 75% due to the nature of the quests. Also, objectives only show up on the mini-map, not the big zone map like they do in WAR and similar titles. There were a couple quests where I wished there were no dots (searching for the little girl in Shroud house in Aldenvault), and a few that I searched some time for objectives w/out dots.
I too, probably will not pay to play this game, but it has nothing to do with the game itself. It has to do with the publisher being Acclaim and having a different release and I do not trust Acclaim to keep patches and servers up to date with the dev team in Europe.
Edit: sorry, I had already quoted him before I saw your post.
