I haven't use it for awhile, it look like they changed the webpage.
So i don't know which is real one. Because i remember correctly, there was some fake ones floating around.
Anyone know the link to the real windower? (i like to use the IME plugin)
Windower is a third party tool and as S&D already stated it is against the ToS that you agree to when playing the game. FFXI has its own window mode that can be activated through the FFXI Configuration. Since the game is now windowable there is no use for windower other than using plugins. These plugins are cheating and use game code to create an unfair advantage to people who are not cheaters. If you use windower you are a cheater and if you do get the hell out of my game and go play Wow where they let you mod your game.

For example, Last night, in bastok:
RDM, BRD, BRD, BRD, THF, THF, MNK, PLD, PLD (I think that was all. There might have been 1 or 2 i'm missing but pretty confident that's all)
Drop rates in Bastok and there other 3 cities were not adjusted. It was only Dreamland Dynamis and the Glacier levels. This is what you would have gotten before the update. Also ... think about this. Say you had 64 people in this run which is the max. Nine pieces listed ... two more possible ... lets say 11 for argument sake here. Assuming no one got more than 1 drop that is 11/64 people (17%). If you imagine a perfectly even world where everyone gets one piece of gear before the first person gets their second ... you are looking at a little less than 6 runs before you'd get your second piece. So once every 3 weeks getting a drop. Is that really so bad? Again .. if you had 64 people and if the greater majority of this game were not greedy little loot-whores.
I know back in the day, when people were not good at Dynamis and didn't know what they were doing, you'd only pull 3-4 relic. But that was due more to running out of time and not completing the zone. Today my group can usually come withing 20 mobs or so of clearing these city zones; in Dynamis - San d'Oria we clear it and and 30 minutes minimum to run around in an empty zone -- actually I am wondering now if they pull to two stones at the top of the towers >.>. Anywho ... point is, people are so used to doing these zones that they have become increasingly efficent with it and thus more potential for drops.
Now look at Dreamland Dynamis. The argument for not doing them is that a) people are not up to CoP 4-1 or b) the drop rate sucks and you get like no time. Dreamland Dynamis is really the hardcore for Dynamis becuase you need to pick and choose your tasks and what you will be going after since there is only 1 time exention. You make one mistake in those zones and you are wasting gil to buy the glass. So they adjust the drop rate making it more appealing.
And Glacier levels. Dyanmis is 4 years old now? I think. Well ... not everyone wins the city zones so for a lot of people they are locked out the glaciers. Now there is a logjam of people looking to get their last two pieces. Are you going to want to play 2 years getting the same old 3 drops over and over again then wait another 2 years trying to get lucky with drop rates/lot rolls? You won't be happy, so adjust the drop rate in those zones to elliviate the log jam, it gets some of these people who have done Dynamis from the begining (/bow thank you) out of the way so new people can jump in and get some stuff too.
More power to you. I have tryed to make a new character on another server a few times. It has never been the same for me as it was back in the day. Hell ... with Icon it took me 3 days to kill my first mob. You can't recreate my first days unfortunately.
... ... ...
Icon's first day in game:
"Oh hey this looks so neat being a Hume Black Mage in Bastok. I wonder why they call this zone Bastok Mines. Oh look there is a cave over there, that must be the mines"
"Oh hey look two people in the mine. What do you mean mr oversized teddy bear? You mean that guy won't let you though that gate? I'll go talk to him. Wait, mr gate person, you will let me in? All Right! sucker teddybear"
"Nice bridge they have over here ... and the tunnle goes deeper. Time to explore /flex"
"Oh another area down here. .. :-O A BAT! ... it is so dead. Let me use this Stone Scroll on it. What? Nothing? I learned Stone? WTF? Okay I guess i'll just attack it. Mr. Staff meet Mr. Bat.
"What does Home Point mean?"
... ... ...
And yeah when the game started you didn't see Hume Black Mages I think I was only the second on Asura to hit 75. It was either me or waffles. There is just something about how much time and effort I put into Icon that I can't fathom doing it all over again. It is the good part and the downfall of ffxi ... the job system.

It was probably around the time they added the Gambling Tables.
It was about that time ... they still have casinos, just don't shout nearly as much. Personally I do a Superbowl block pool every year, but it is just with people i know. I'm hoping it will spread this year and I could run multiple cards.
