    • FFXI Getting 3 Mini-Expansions starting in Spring!
    • WOTG is basically optional because no one really sets up xp camps in the expansion zones. However, I find Campaign to be one of the best things to do WHILE lfg. I think the mini-expansions are going to be 6-man content... which sounds great. I'm sure each one will have a unique reward as well, and that's always good.

The one about Shantotto should be fun :).

Well, I like puns so I think Kupo d'Etat will be favorite :0... however, the illustration that accompanies the Shantotto xpack is amazing imo. <3 Shantotto.

Vana'diel Festival 2008 was held today in Tokyo, with a multitude of spirited fans bringing the JCB Hall venue to life. None of those in attendance were able to hide their surprise and delight as the announcement was made for the confirmed development of three new expansion scenarios. In addition to this delicious piece of news, fans were treated to an appetite-whetting preview of the upcoming December version update, and much, much more. We have taken the liberty of preparing a detailed summary of all the exciting events that took place at this year's festival for the benefit of those who were unable to attend.

Check them out here. How can you not like the name "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat"?

I played this on the 360 when released on the format , and enjoyed it quite alot. Since then i have played wow, lotr, eve and will continue to do so ,also severel others that i enjoy but cant afford them all , eg AOC, Warhammer d@d to name a few. Now over the past week ive seen some posts about people wanting to return to this game , so it has got thinking shall i ?.

      1. Is the pop still good ?

      2. Do you think it has got alot of life still in it ?

Two simple questions ,as i allready know i like the game but the answers to these can make a huge difference.

I will still continue to play the above games aswell but looking for something else and always enjoyed my time in FF.

And im going for the 360 version so i can play when the wifes on pc , thats the other reason i was thinking about this in all honesty.

      1. Population on my server hovers around 3500 players at prime time (using the /sea all command)... Odin is so crowded they are offering free server transfers. I'm sure there are some dead servers, but Fairy, Ifrit, Kujata, Odin, Hades, Asura and Bahamut all have higher populations it seems.

      2. FFXI is the best group-based PVE game on the market... and believe it or not, not everyone wants a solo carebear grind that all the "other" games offer... so the demand for a group-based mmo is there, and FFXI fills it. It's got plenty of life in it!
