| Biography | Long time gamer and roleplayer. Eagerly awaiting Aion, Guild Wars 2 and Wrath of the Lich King. I have played DAoC (for a very short time), City of Heroes/Villains and all of the Guild Wars games. Currently still playing through the Guild Wars franchise and have just returned to WoW. http://sigs.guildlaunch.net/wsig.php/5944813Kurco.png |

My wife rolled a hunter and I rolled a druid and it is working out real well. I can fit into whatever is needed for a given situation. If her pet is having issues holding aggro then I can shift into bear form and tank. If we need more dps then its cat form. Ranged attacks or healing I stay in caster form. Druid will allow you to easily fill in whatever roll is needed. Of course that means you have to be a cow since you'll be horde side
.
That stinks. It would be great if they brought the prices down.
Welcome back
. I just recently came back as well after a year long hiatus and two or three other games that just did not match up to WoW.
I've never had any problems with Guild Wars on Vista. City of Villains/Heroes gave me some trouble but all I had to do was run it as administrator and I had no problems after that.

* end-game doesn't consist of endless raiding* it's built to appeal to the casual player
* play through the storyline (there are 2 other campaigns and an expansion to play through as well, which is the route most people go)* PvP, which is where the game shines
* collect titles (there are many, so collecting all of them will take an age)
* save up for exotic armor sets, such as Obsidian armor. This can take some time as they are expensive.
* play through elite missions (The Underworld etc.)
* collect minipets
^ a number of the above can be "saved" in the Hall of Monuments, which comes with Eye of the North, and reaccessed in Guild Wars 2
All of this will take a good load of time I can assure you. Each campaign has a very different feel in my opinion, so maybe it's just Nightfall that you don't like.
With that being said, here's a list of what you have to do:
Guild Wars isn't your typical MMO in that:
I totally agree with Lydon in all of this
. I also must say that if you are looking for end game content, then the Eye of the North expansion is a must have. There are plenty of dungeons to raid, bosses to kill and elite armor to collect. It is more of a sequel to the Prophecies campaign but either of the other titles tie in nicely and you would have an advantage in already knowing how to use heroes since you started with Nightfall.
How many players does an MMO need to be considered a success in today's market?
