• • Error #132 on install

  • For those that are having this issue, if you go to the WoW Account Managemetn site and click the download client (you don't need to download each - choosing TBS installs WoW and TBC). You don't get the error at install or during gameplay.

    Background: I built myself a new PC as most of the new games comming out wouldn't run on my old (pos) pc so no longer had WoW installed when I reactivated my account. It played WAR, LotRO and COD4 with no problems at all but attempting to install WoW gave me this error popup. I then updated the BIOS SW, Video drivers and ran both the Vista Memeory Test and the 3rd party memtest v3.4 and my memory passed both. Nothing is OC'd. But I still got the error message, so for no other reason except sh!ts and giggles I tried the download and it worked and installed with no issues. Also it was version 3.01 so no big patches to deal with eaither.

  • I have the same problem with a new MMO. I started last week afterthe xpac launch and had a few false starts. I first tried a hunter as my first class in a game has always been a archer type class but I felt a bit squishy as they start with only light armor. I briefly tried a minstrel as self heals are always useful but the as they play a lute for their helas and buffs I just found it anoying so I gave up. Lastly I tried a Warden and have to admit I think I found my class. I feel pretty solid and can take on 2 or 3 mobs at once. There's a self heal Gambit (maybe a couple but I'm still low level) that you pop if you need it and the medium armor and shield protect you pretty well.

    All I can suggest is try a couple and see what you enjoy. What sounds good on paper may not necessarily be good when you actually play it.

    Yes, the 'Complete Edition' contains 2 disks... dixk 1is SoA and Dixk2 is MoM. Install both then run the patcher, took about 45mins to patch but I have a 15Mb/sec internet connection so it may take you a bit longer... then you're all set.

  • You may be thinking of  WoW and the DK. I started new on Wednesday and I had the option to create a Warden or Runekeeper...

• • Patch first or install Vol 2 first? Does it matter?
