Latest Blog Entry - Feels like the day before christmas.....

I honestly haven't been this excited since the first time i stepped into Star Wars Galaxies. I was born in 1977, and when i first discovered Star Wars, i fell in love with it instantly. The drama, the genre, the story. Everything was awe inspiring. 31 years later, I still watch the movies religiously, and though not a big enough (or maybe i just dont have the cohones) to dress up and go to conventions, Star Wars has been a huge influence, and love, of my life. My wife thinks I am a nut, but yeah, maybe.
Since the rise and fall of Star Wars Galaxies, I endured it's many shape and forms, until last year when I just couldn't do it any more. Since then, I have bounced to and from every major mmorpg out there, none really had the magic that the Star Wars Universe held for me. Warhammer is holding my interest, and I am having alot of fun, but it is like a crack addict missing his addiction.
Now I feel like a kid at Christmas, waiting with abaited breathe to see what wonderous gift I get when i come rushing down the stairs. Will it be the gift I was hoping for all year? Or will it be a pair of knit socks?
Tomorrow, the wait is over.....hopefully it's a gift I can cherish for many years to come......

Yep, Trolls Breed haters...and fanbois try all they can to squash the trolls at the bud. But sometimes the pre-mature haters get caught in the cross-hairs and the animosity begins with full blown haters.
The whole AoC vs DF rivalry was started by trolls...like Tenspotting

you know what i find ironic, is that there are some people in this thread (won't mention who) who openly attaked games which got released this year for alot of the reasons they are now saying "lets wait and see what happens", "Gamplay > graphics" or "crafting was never meant to be complex". Other people who enjoyed other games in the past have said this, and DF fans in this thread who openly bashed the people who's stance they now take.
This is why i never understood the animosity between fabois and haters, eventually we all become , both, one AND the other
