Scenarios will kill this game. Everyone spends all their time in them and do nothign else between start times. I don't expect 40 to be any better and it is getting a little boring.
Where does it say they're closing 40% servers. They're allowing a free character transfer from low pop servers to med/low pop servers to get the pops up on those few servers. It doesn't say they'll close them afterwards or that everyone must leave the low pop server. Don't jump to illogical conclusions OP.
It looks like they will adhere to the plot of the book, with some deviations likely. However, hopefully this is a good first step to bring the whole story alive and someday to the big screen.
OP are you seriously stating that WOW was innovative?? They surved all the other mmo's before them and nit picked the best ideas of each and implemented them, they did not innovate anything.
The only innovative thing WoW did, and whether its a good thing or bad, is take the grind out of the game and make it ez-mode to play. This change allowed many others who have never experienced the genre get into a mmo without any learning curve.
But the sad reality is that most mmo's coming out today are going to follow WoW's ez-mode example in an attempt to get a larger market auidence, real innovation scares people who are used to their tried and true ez-mode games.
