Posted today, an article on
Discusses a viable money maker for Sony..and no matter how "Evil" anyone thinks Sony is, this move was phenomenal.
The trading card genre has been a major avenue of funds for MtG, WoW, White Wolf...and now we have a Virtual TCG ready to play as long as you have a Station account name (don't even have to pay for initial access)
The game is visually appealing..uses a lot of sounds and actions from EQ, and playable with others...including trading cards or even selling for real cash...
If more MMO's could find ways to differentiate themselves, they could also have value. With a stale MMO market at this time, here is a way to wake up those old players and bring new one's in.
How do YOU feel about the TCG? Let me know...sound off in comments below.

Yeah, SWTOR.
We all knew it was coming, but that didn't stop it from hitting the gaming world like an ICBM.
This is why I do NOT believe SW-TOR is the big story. EVERYONE knew. Why does that equal big news.
Tabula Rasa closing is my pick. We did not assume it would close THAT soon. Especially with so much money tied up into the game, and the constant "No, we are not closing" news press releases.
Duh!
Welcome to BIG tax writeoff 101.
The lesson today? Shut down a game before taxes are due, and have a large lump sum loss to prove the need for an influx of cash due to manpower, equipment, etc,
So ends the lesson known as Tabula Rasa.
Good day!
Here is another issue with having a trial.
The most you could probably get to is level 20 in a trial.
The game changes drastically 100% AFTER 20. Some find it enjoyable, some do not.
The problem remains. Level 20 means the game you trial will NOT be the game you buy.
Straight up, the game is worth the box price for 30 days...no trial needed. If you like standard RPG's. If you like Neverwinter Nights or Witcher or Diablo, or any action console game, you will like AoC.
I have found AoC for 25 bucks, and you cannot lose with that price. The game has been fixed, and stabilized, and the level 20 ride is the best of any MMO in existence.
Go ahead, and buy it and quit complaining about a trial.

Well.. I generaly don't care if a NDA is dropped or not.. I am there to play the game to test it not to inform others about it
So you come to MMORG.com to play Spellborn...not discuss it?
How odd.
All we asked was for someone to share their feelings about the game and show some screenshots...it is fine you do not wish to share...seems silly, but cool for you.
Thanks for visiting!

I don't know if the NDA is dropped or not, thats why I don't post ingame stuff.. But to add to my previous post, the client is very stable only had 1 crash with 2 weeks playing. Also I am running on max settings. This is my system:
Intel Q9450
8GB DDR2
ATI 4870, 512MB
Creative X-Fi soundcard
Using Vista 64bitCompared to the WoW beta I played for 6 months, this client is more stable and the game has less ingame issues.
The even scarier part.... When the beta testers do not even know that NDA has been dropped..
That is bad..
