    This is not the right game type for him at all.  He shouldnt in fact even be playing anything online if this is how he feels.  Even FPS games require grouping to an extent.  Unless its FFA Killing. 

    And RTS games are just the same online.  You can go up against computers online which are scripted or play against other people.

    While I agree with the fact that MMOs are meant to be multiplayer...as the acronym explains, but certain forced grouping situations are really annoying.

    I never said anything about the PvP-ing.  You don't like it?  There are games that offer PvP-free environments.  I love PvP.

    Also, the OP mentioned how he dislikes how bosses need to be defeated a certain specific way.  I agree with him.

    What GreenChaos did is generalize what the OP said and pretty much told him to get lost.  That's what my comment was about.  Now, how is it, that most ever other person who posted something here has something constructive to say?

    WOW!  Quite the reply there.  OP said he didn't "FORCED" grouping.  And he didn't like the almost scripted nature of boss fights in most MMOs, where you have to do things a predetermined way to win.

    While I agree with some of the things the OP said, I will be waiting for this game with much anticipation.  Don't flame him for posting his opinion...this is after all a public forum.

  • I play a Loremaster on Silverlode (Firedorn) and just hit 50 recently.  As the previous poster said, a LM has a tough time to solo in the start, but once pets come in and you can manage aggro well enough, it becomes a lot easier.  LM in groups is great too, mostly for CC and the occasional last second heal (on a cooldown).  Also helps to keep healers active by transferring power to them (mana heal).

    Pets make for good off-tank, or at higher levels, high burst DPS with the lynx.  Overall, I have not regretted leveling my LM to 50.  Now I gotta start experiencing the high-end content.

    Look me up if you roll Silverlode.
