    Darkfall will be released in a few months.

    True, all statements is quotes from Tasos except very polished game which is my own statement. A few weeks beta as Tasos wrote have been misunderstood as 2 weeks which isnt accurate or what he ment. Tasos version of a few weeks is more then 2 weeks, just to clarify.

    
     

    Considering we were suppose to have a new video "very soon" and that was promised over two months ago now, I would expect beta to last at least a few months, maybe even year.  This is Greece we are talking about and NOTHING moves fast in Greece wtih the exception of traffic.

     

    Remember, there -IS- a new video. It was shown to a bunch of guys in a conference in Greece.

     

    Of course, the fans and followers of Darkfall don't need to be presented with new videos. I mean...why would they want that? They've got text-updates after all.

    There is no proof that the video that Tasos showed at the conference was a new video.  The video shown at the conference could very well have been the last video update we had.  If they had a new video, I'm sure we would have seen it already because people have been screaming for it on the official forums for the last month and Tasos insists it isn't ready yet.

     

     

    I was being sarcastic, sorry. I'm not that good at sarcasm.   Basically, I was pointing out exactly what you are saying.

    Then couldn't you tell the OP was also pointing out the obvious? People saw through the hype when the free month ended, and there's still people playing. But what he says is true: if Funcom doesn't change and deliver ALL their promises, alot more people are going to lose interest.

     

    Sure. That's a given, as with any other game. Companies need to improve their games, or people will leave.

     

    What I pointed out, is that AoC being on Place 2 of the MMORPG.com charts of this site is nothing to indicate success or the lack thereof. If anything, it could be seen as a lack of interest from the few (comperatively, speaking in whole gaming community terms now), people who are here.

     

    But sheesh, if you're all so adamant about this being something important, please. I just don't see the sense. :)

  • I just point out the obvious. The most successful MMO isn't even in that list. Why people want to see that happening, or are happy about it is beyond me. The MMORPG.com boards are, after all, in no way any indicator of what game is successful or not.
