• • First impression of LOTR: terrible...

  • Has any of the original combat mechanics changed in the expansion.

     

    My only complaint was the rate of atk. coming from eq2 I supose I should have expected it. In Lotro it always felt as though I was swinging threw water when fighting.

     

    Anyways hope you guys have a blast in the xp pack.

  • Not sure if I'm the only one having fun in wow or not but wouldn't this game deserv to be a little higher in the raitings on this site. =) 

     

    Update you raiting guys, this game is really nice now and a lot better then most of the listed games above this one in the raitings. Anarchy Online and Eq1 for example.

  • After a few nights of playing, game is getting better imo, sure it seams easy but it's fun, when I did level 70 to 80 in eq2 it was not fun, it was long nights of crawling threw an exp bar that seamed to never end.

    In WoW I'm not even paying attention to my exp bar.

     

    I know some poeple blew threw all there is to do but I'm not that kind of person so I supose this expansion was tailored for us casual players and not the 12hr a day junkie =) no offense intended, if I could I would play each day and all day.

    Anyways I'm not buying into this expansion pack. poor list of features, more dungeons more late nights waiting for strategy try outs...

     

    WoW is fun for me right now...  and fun is all I want in a game not late nights of poeple getting fustrated  =)

    Example of a cool quest in WoW expansion: take form of a bird and raid hawk eggs on a monsterous mountain side, it sounds simple but it sure beats kill 10 this, kill 40 that. and kill 20 this and loot 50 that. =) /rant over hehe

  • I liked BC, and yep this feels like an extension of that for what I've seen up till now...

     

    I'm not sure if it was just me but it didn't seam as dificult as it was the first few days in BC, remember when the hell boars started taking down you HP in a hurry... didn't get that in Northrend.

     

    Anyways .. I like it so far. love those boats constantly arriving on that icy shore and attacking. much more is going on in the back ground this time around.
