    • pretty graphics but space fighting in swg made me very ill. I think many ppl will have to sit this one out :(.

    • looks great! I have been looking for a new MMO ever since SWG NGE. This one reminds me of the very first MMO i ever played, Earth and Beyond. I miss that game.

    • @Rhoklaw I've never understood this concept of "The Developers are screwing with the players, just because they can". As much fun as EVE might be, a reasonable adult knows that it's just a game. I have a hard time believing that developers would intentionally cause imbalance in the universe, knowingly driving away customers.

    • ooh, looks interesting. Then again, a LOT of good games are coming out around 2009/2010 that I will be looking at. There will be alot of good competition, which is good for everyone.

    • One more thing, what type of gameplay does it have? Is it a one team shoots another team to accomplish something or is it a open-ended privateer style setting?

    • If this space mmo can make the 1st person cockpit view for an advantage in combat, then it can surpass Jumpgate evolution.

    • Other interesting news going back to an older Q&A is that the bigger/larger of the ships will take multiple people to fly/operate. Information is a bit scarce at the moment though as most of it's been gathered via the Neocron forums from being able to question the devs.

    • Also all screenshots are in game shots. Waiting on the team to answer whether it's pre-rendered but considering they've never done a pre-render on their other project I doubt they'd start now. Should know after the weekend when they have a chance to answer.

    • Cyberwiz it's 300 person BATTLES. Not 300 per server. The team has hinted that you'll possibly have an avatar and clans will be able to build/design their own stations. It's twitch based action with possibly rpg stat building (ala their previous title Neocron).

    • @Shohadaku: If CCP isn't corrupt and their Eve Online clan, better known as BoB isn't corrupt, than explain why they had to setup an in-game Democracy system to allow people to determine the truth? When all they had to do was release the names of all CCP employees and their characters names? Sorry, CCP does too much publicity slight of hand bullcrap for me to trust them.

    • By the way, when EVE shows teasers it's GAME FOOTAGE. I am not so sure all of that footage you saw is actual game footage.

    • EVE corrupted? QQ a little more. EVE is best because CCP don't get involved unless it is a game mechanic exploit. EVE is a real sandbox universe where your free to live inside the relm of the game mechanics. Yea there are some people who try to scam. Just don't be a moron, and realize your living in a cold universe where some people want to blow you up, others just want to take you for a sucker. EVE is not recomended for the weak minded.

    • @girlgeek: No, I don't mean Eve is corrupt because of powerful players. It's corrupt because it's too easy for veteran players to scam new players. The game is full of corrupt players and CCP has too much involvement in the game's so called player driven balance/economy.

    • @CyberWiz: Where did you get the info on the max 300 player per server from? Because if that's true then MMORPG.com can insta delete this video from it's site! As only 300 people on a server is NO MMORPG. Just a beefed up standard MultiPlayer online game. So I really hope you made a typo and mean that they at least accomodate 3000 Logged On players at a time per server! That would be more in line with the average MMO.

    • @Rhoklaw: How is EVE "corrupted?" If by corrupted you mean it's a sandbox game where the economy is driven by players, the world is expanded and shaped by players, your skill training is completely up to the discretion of players, and you don't like how powerful some people have become...well...that's not corrupted. That's what sandbox games are MEANT to be. Perhaps this game will be more to your liking than EVE, but that doesn't make EVE "corrupted."

    • Okay did some research, seems it will be skill based ( 30 skills atm ), but servers will only accomodate 300 players ... And they want to release it on Pc and Xbox ... Not sure how I feel about that :p

    • Looks nice, but at the 1st screenshot I saw I tohught "is this a screenshot from EvE-Online ?" :p ( Not that that is a bad thing tho ) The things we know so far : - Real-time action, like Jumpgate Evolution - Indiviually modify and optimize your ship with a vast range of modules, like Jumpgate Evolution and EvE-Online. - Plan by yourself, in a Clan, or together with a whole fleet to subdue your opponents and uncover secrets of cosmic proportions, like most MMO's. Now wether it will be skill based ( like EvE ) or with character progression at all ( like Jumpgate ) or level based ( please no :p ) we dont know. But it sure looks interesting. Greetz

    • Very nice teaser. But that's about it. They opened up Beta applications, yet there is absolutely NO information whatsoever! No Specifications, No Goals, No features explanation, Nothing Nada! Guess that's why it's not in the MMORPG list yet, as we only got a empty website with a teaser trailer, 4 claimed ingame screenshots and a beta signup?
